BITFOOTS GENERATOR is a free, unofficial fan-made tool by @cybttx. It is not affiliated with the Bitfoots team. This page explains what happens to your data.

No account

There is no sign-up. Your browser gets a random anonymous id in a cookie ("fp_id", one year) so the site can show your own portraits and apply the daily limit. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for the per-IP daily limit; the IP itself is not stored.

Your photos

Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it. Uploaded photos are re-encoded on arrival, which removes EXIF metadata such as GPS location. They are stored privately and automatically deleted after 7 days. Generated portraits are kept so you can come back to them; a portrait is only visible to others through its share link or, if you join it, the chain.

Processing

To create your portrait, your photo is sent to our image-generation provider, OpenAI. Under OpenAI's API policy, this data is not used to train their models by default; OpenAI may keep it for a limited period to monitor for abuse. If enabled, a Cloudflare Turnstile check helps keep bots out.

Where data is stored

The site runs on Vercel. Data is stored with Neon (database) and Cloudflare R2 (images).

The chain

If you add your X post to the chain, we store its link and your public X handle and show them in the chain list together with your portrait.

Deleting your data

Want a portrait or chain link removed? Send a DM to @cybttx on X with its share link and it will be deleted.
